With the Christmas break fast approaching, at CEA Ltd we’re fully prepared to ensure all our clients have access to our services.
Eoin, our Finance & Admin Director, has worked hard for several months devising, formulating and preparing CEA Ltd’s Business Continuity Plan. It is there mainly should any disaster befall the company premises. However, we could see that it can also serve other purposes.
It has two elements:
1: If the offices suddenly become unusable. In that eventuality we have two recourses:
a) We have emergency alternative offices that can be brought into use within 30 minutes. It contains a replication of our main office and the staff can move to that emergency accommodation when necessary. It is, specifically, outside the area of the main office, so would not be affected by the same disaster such as flood, power failures, grid cuts, etc.
b) The main staff have been set up in their homes with a replica of their office desk, including a computer, paperwork, printer, office telephone (linked up to the Head Office telephony system by voip) and all the essential office supplies.
2: Extreme Weather Conditions
Option (a) above would probably not be viable. In that case Option (b) would swing into action. Staff without equipment supplied would travel to their nearest main staff members home and carry out their work from that location.
We have decided that this festive break would be a good opportunity to test our Business Continuity Plan, and run Option 2. To that end, we will put that phase into operation from Tuesday 24th December 2019 and it will provide full office cover throughout the holidays to all our clients. Along with access to our state of the art Client Portal, clients have our full range of services, reporting and ability to instruct. New clients are welcome to avail themselves of our Bailiff and Debt Collection services.
For all instructions, including traveller evictions and debt recovery, It only requires one call to 0113 532 8350. This number is diverted to the on-call duty manager throughout the Christmas period. As you would expect there may be a delay on Christmas Day. During this time, you can either leave a voice mail or send a text to 07799 888062
